What does CodeQuota show?
It shows your ChatGPT Codex 5-hour and weekly quota remaining, the next reset times, and available reset credits.
How often does the quota status refresh?
CodeQuota refreshes quota status automatically every minute. You can also refresh it manually from either window.
What do I need to run CodeQuota?
A Mac with Apple Silicon and macOS 13 or later, plus the ChatGPT desktop app signed in to your account.
How do I install CodeQuota?
Download and extract the ZIP, then drag CodeQuota into the Applications folder. Open it from Applications to see the menu bar icon.
Is CodeQuota affiliated with any AI agent platform?
No. CodeQuota is an independent quota-display utility and currently supports ChatGPT Codex only.
UP AND RUNNING
Install it. Find it up top.
Install the ChatGPT desktop app and sign in first.
- Download and unzip CodeQuota
- Drag the app into Applications
- Open from Applications and check the menu bar
This installer supports Apple Silicon. Liquid Glass requires macOS 26; earlier systems use system material. The app is locally signed, not notarized by Apple. If the first launch is blocked, allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
