# CodeQuota

> CodeQuota is an independent macOS utility that displays quota information. It is not affiliated with any AI-agent platform and currently supports ChatGPT Codex only. It displays the remaining 5-hour and weekly quotas, reset times, and available reset credits, refreshing once per minute.

## Product facts

- Platform: Apple Silicon Mac, macOS 13 or later.
- Requires the ChatGPT desktop app and a signed-in account.
- Purpose: display quota information only; it does not provide or modify an AI agent platform.
- Affiliation: independent project, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any AI-agent platform.
- Current compatibility: ChatGPT Codex only.
- Views: menu bar popover and optional floating window.
- Quota status refreshes every minute; manual refresh is also available.
- Localization: 11 interface languages — English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
- Quota checks run through the local Codex CLI on the user's Mac. CodeQuota does not request access to conversations, prompts, or project files.

## Installation

Download the ZIP, extract it, drag CodeQuota.app into Applications, then open it from Applications. The homepage includes the command-line download and full installation guide.
